Hoja dinA4 escrita por ambas caras y por mitades. En el anverso, en el lado izquierdo, hay un apunte en lapiz azul: “Evans and Vanx villerme … neck meetry”. En la mitad derecha del anverso empieza una carta, cuyo comienzo copia dos inscripciones y a continuación contiene un texto explicativo. La carta en si se divide entre las tres cuartas partes restantes. El segundo tercio de la carta lo situa en la mitad derecha del reverso y el tercero en la izquierda. Este ultimo, además, no sigue la misma dirección y se debe girar el papel 90º a la izquierda para leerlo. Además está tachado y señalado con el dibujo de una mano esquemática, con un lápiz azul: Carta: “Read 12 jun. !60 26 December 1859 Cf. Kinsey Portugal illustrated [copia de CIL II 341 y 345, una junto a la otra] My …hi A few years ago in 1846 I copied de above inscription on some stones built into the gateway of the Castle at Leira in Portugal, which I afterwards form in Kinsey, Portugal, but very incorrectly form; I know not whether they are published elsewhere (perhaps in the Corpus Inscriptionum) but send you my reading, thinking they ... perhaps ... some of our numbers. Knisey reading of "Patri piissimo" is evidently very incorrect; he probably copied them in a hurry, but I had an opportunity of examining them several times. They are cut on a hand cretacions (?) limestones.
